Mark Lanegan, you LEGEND.

It's a sad day for music today, as Mark Lanegan, the former singer with Screaming Trees, member of Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins, solo artist with 12 albums, and collaborator across multiple genres, has died at the age of 57.
A statement on Lanegan’s Twitter account: “Our beloved friend Mark Lanegan passed away this morning at his home in Killarney, Ireland. A beloved singer, songwriter, author and musician he was 57 and is survived by his wife Shelley. No other information is available at this time. The family asks everyone to respect their privacy at this time.”
His success in the grunge scene and his emblematic deep gruff voice did not stop him from experimenting with different kinds of music. Using his relatively new "Dark Mark" alias released a collaboration album with "Not Waving" in 2019 and another one with Joe Cardamone in 2021. Trying to choose the best between all of the songs in his huge discography would be silly, so I will just close this article with this song that has been an ear-worm for me in my university years.

Hello citizens of the world!
I'm Constantinos. I would say I'm a DJ, but I'm more of a hotel employee.
I have a radio show every Wednesday on https://barkingcats.live/ with the name "A Proper Job". I like to blend a wide selection of genres in my sets. In my weekly show, I am focusing on fresh releases from across the spectrum of electronic music, with the occasional themed episode that delves into more particular areas.
If you are in Cyprus (the island of Venus / corruption / division / sun) you might catch me DJing or just selecting music across the island in different types of bars, clubs, festivals and parties using the DJ name ''sixonesix''. I sometimes also do some live electronics shows under the alias "Sorry Teller".
In this blog I will be sharing my sets, some of the new music releases that I think are worth mentioning, maybe some articles I might decide to write (can not promise this one) and anything else that might occure!
